Position Overview

Kiewit is seeking motivated HR professionals to join our Employee Experience team - a high-impact group dedicated to delivering an elevated onboarding, offboarding, and engagement journey for every employee. This Tier 2 team blends human connection with the latest HR technology, including AI-assisted insights, to create seamless, personalized experiences.

District Overview

Kiewit Human Resources Group is an integral partner and service provider that supports the company's operations, offering best-in-class support services that align with Kiewit's organizational priorities. We are a unified, shared service team with various departments including Analytics, Benefits, Compensation, Craft Services & Craft Recruiting, Employee Relations, Employee Services, Immigration & Business Travel, Leave of Absence, Move Services & Relocation, Recruiting and Talent Development.

This is a full time role located in Westlake, TX

Responsibilities

In This Role, You Will:

• Lead new hires through their first days, ensuring they feel welcomed, prepared, and inspired.
• Partner with managers to ensure offboarding is professional and supportive.
• Apply listening tools, feedback loops, and data insights to improve processes.
• Work across HR functions to ensure consistent, high-quality delivery.
• Use technology and AI-enhanced insights to personalize experiences and streamline delivery.

Your Career Path at Kiewit This generalist role is a strong steppingstone toward senior HR leadership positions:

• Advance into HR Business Partner roles, supporting strategic people planning and business enablement.
• Grow into Centers of Excellence (COE) manager roles, leading specialized HR functions.
• Build expertise in employee experience design, AI-supported HR delivery, and cross-functional collaboration - skills in high demand across the organization.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience in HR, employee experience, or a related field.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Curiosity, adaptability, and comfort with evolving tools and technologies.

• Regular, reliable attendance
• Work productively and meet deadlines timely
• Communicate and interact effectively and professionally with supervisors, employees, and others individually or in a team environment.
• Perform work safely and effectively. Understand and follow oral and written instructions, including warning signs, equipment use, and other policies.
• Work during normal operating hours to organize and complete work within given deadlines. Work overtime and weekends as required.
• May work at various different locations and conditions may vary.
