Introduction: 

Visium Resources has been asked to identify qualified candidates for this Employee Experience Partner position. This position is a contract opportunity, with a possibility of extension and/or conversion, and is expected to be Hybrid, with on campus days being Monday, Wednesdays and Thursdays. Work from home on Tuesdays and Fridays.

 

Summary: 

The Employee Experience Partner is responsible for the day-to-day management, guidance, support, and expertise in the implementation and administration of human resources policies, procedures, and programs. This position manages the employee experience, offering direction for employees and managers through onboarding, self-service tools, and human resources shared services. 

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Workforce Planning & Support: Partners with related departments in workforce planning and organizational design meetings; conducts initial consultations and manages follow-up activities.
  • Talent Acquisition Liaison: Supports hiring managers with interview preparation and serves as a liaison for candidate and new hire experience components.
  • Compliance & Regulation: Stays up-to-date on regulatory and legal requirements impacting HR; identifies and escalates issues, risks, and non-compliance. Consults and supports managers on HR compliance.
  • Performance & Offboarding: Tracks compliance with performance management processes and manages separation of work processes, including conducting exit interviews.
  • Program Administration: Supports special compensation programs, employee wellness program administration, and tuition reimbursement programs.
  • Events & Engagement: Leads, manages, and supports employee events, projects, and communication at a local level, including service awards programs, job fairs, open enrollment events, employee engagement, recognition events, and new hire orientation.
  • HR Technology & Strategy: Serves as a change agent for operating models and strategic initiatives; acts as a "super user" for human resources technology systems and processes.
  • Administrative Support: Coordinates office administrative support with excellent customer service skills to promote the HR operating model.
  • Ad-Hoc Duties: Assists with research for policies, training, strategic planning, and other human resource issues as assigned. 


Education:

  • Associate's Degree: Required
  • Bachelor's Degree: Preferred
  • Field of Study: Human Resources, Business, or a related field

 

Work Experience:

  • Relevant Experience: 2+ years of human resources, administrative, or related experience
  • Leadership Experience: 0+ years required
  • Education & Experience Equivalence Rule: An equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of the stated degree requirement.

 

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Software: Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) [Required]
  • HR Knowledge: Working knowledge of or aptitude to learn human resources disciplines applicable for assigned duties [Required]
  • Communication: Professional, oral, and written communication skills [Required]
  • Core Skills: Problem-solving and critical thinking skills [Required]
  • Discretion: Ability to handle confidential matters with maximum discretion [Required]
  • Project Management: Project management and consulting experience [Preferred]

 

Licenses and Certifications:

  • SHRM-CP (SHRM Certified Professional) - Accredited Issuing Body [Preferred]
  • PHR (Professional in Human Resources) - Accredited Issuing Body [Preferred]
