About This Role:

As an Employee Relations Advisor at Insight Global, you are a trusted partner to employees, leaders, and HR in fostering a fair, respectful, and high-performing workplace. This role is responsible for independently managing complex employee relations matters from intake through resolution, including investigations, ADA accommodations, and sensitive conduct concerns. You will apply sound judgment, empathy, and consistency to deliver business-aligned outcomes while upholding Insight Global's values and compliance obligations.

Responsibilities

What You'll Do:

  • Independently manage a high volume of complex employee relations cases from intake through closure, ensuring timely, fair, and well-documented outcomes.
  • Conduct thorough investigations into allegations of harassment, discrimination, retaliation, policy violations, and other workplace concerns for both internal and external employees.
  • Perform initial complaint assessments, determine investigative scope and strategy, and partner with ER peers and HR leadership as needed on approach and risk considerations.
  • Gather, analyze, and synthesize facts, documentation, interviews, and other evidence to produce clear, defensible investigative summaries and recommendations.
  • Lead the end-to-end ADA interactive process for internal and external employees, including intake, medical review, analysis of essential job functions, and determination of reasonable accommodations aligned with business needs.
  • Partner with HR, legal, and business leaders to ensure compliance with ADA, FMLA, leave, and other employment-related regulations
  • Provide expert guidance, coaching, and counsel to leaders and HR colleagues on employee conduct, performance concerns, corrective action, terminations, leave of absence, and complex employee situations.
  • Serve as a thought partner to leaders in navigating sensitive conversations while balancing employee experience, risk mitigation, and business objectives.
  • Collaborate closely with ER & HR peers to ensure consistency, equity, and alignment in advice, decision-making, and outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate, detailed, and timely documentation in the case management system to support quality records, trend analysis, and reporting.
  • Identify trends, systemic issues, and opportunities for improvement based on case data and employee feedback.
  • Recommend and contribute to the development of ER processes, policies, tools, and training to enhance efficiency, consistency, and the employee experience.
  • Champion a positive, inclusive, and respectful workplace culture by modeling empathy, active listening, professionalism, and discretion in every interaction.
  • Ensure ER processes are delivered with care, transparency, and clarity to support trust and engagement across the organization.
Qualifications

What You'll Need To Succeed:

  • Proven experience investigating complex employee relations matters, including discrimination, harassment, retaliation, performance issues, wage and hour concerns, and leave-related claims (e.g., ADA, FMLA).
  • Strong understanding of federal and state employment laws and regulatory requirements.
  • Ability to manage multiple ER cases simultaneously while meeting deadlines and maintaining quality.
  • Strong prioritization skills in fast-paced, high-volume environments with competing demands and frequent interruptions.
  • Demonstrated adaptability and ability to recalibrate priorities in response to evolving business needs.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and relationship-building skills with the ability to partner effectively across all levels of the organization.
  • Strong communication skills, including the ability to tailor messaging, approach, and delivery based on audience and situation.

Must Haves:
  • 3+ years of experience conducting internal employee relations investigations
  • Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent relevant experience considered
  • Technology-savvy with the ability to navigate multiple HR systems
  • Ability to adapt communication style, approach, and working style to different audiences and environments
