Employee Relations Advisor

As a key player in the Human Resources Department, you'll handle employee relations matters, including strategic HR planning, culture building, supporting budgeting processes, addressing complaints, and leading investigations. You will foster positive relationships among hourly employees, supervisors, and managers. You will serve as a bridge between the Site HR Manager, Kellanova North America Manufacturing Business Unit HRBP, and Global Business Services. You will drive adoption of HR technology and contribute to employee training, crew scheduling and employee relations meetings. As an Employee Relations Advisor at the Zanesville Plant, you'll be at the heart of employee engagement and accountability. A Taste of What You'll Be Doing

  • People First: You'll lead employee relations activities, including investigations, conflict resolution, corrective actions, and performance management, while helping create a positive and productive work environment.
  • Guidance & Support: Partner with employees and leaders to navigate leave administration, ADA accommodations, return-to-work processes, and employment compliance requirements.
  • Coaching for Success: Provide guidance to supervisors and managers on employment policies, employee engagement, leadership development, performance management, and workforce planning.
  • Compliance in Action: Maintain accurate documentation, HR records, audits, and reporting while ensuring compliance with company policies and employment regulations.
  • Visible Leadership: Build trusted relationships through an active presence on the production floor, serving as a resource and advocate for employees and leaders alike.
  • Culture Builder: Support employee engagement programs, recognition initiatives, town halls, and People COE activities that strengthen culture and enhance the employee experience.
  • Partnership: Collaborate closely with Operations, Safety, Finance, Training, and Corporate HR teams to achieve plant objectives and drive continuous improvement.

We're Looking for Someone With Bachelor's or master's degree in human resources or equivalent direct work experience Experience in the Human Resources field in a manufacturing environment Proficiency using Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, etc.) Attention to detail with the ability to communicate effectively The ability to manage complex situations with sound judgment The ability to influence the Plant Director and other site leaders in daily interactions using data and HR expertise. Experience working closely with employees in streamlining processes and supporting change management Proven history of successful people management including coaching leaders, training teams and difficult conversations Experience using Kronos/Ceridian and SAP Compensation The annual salary range is $79,400-$109,230, which is based on various factors such as location, experience and skill.
