The Opportunity

Based on-site in Swedesboro, NJ, you will serve as the site Employee Relations lead and the dedicated HR Business Partner for a major production line. Your mission: build fair, consistent, and legally compliant practices while partnering closely with operations to support a high-volume, always-on manufacturing environment.

Compensation

Salary Range: $115,000 - $125,000

What You’ll Lead

  • Direct complex, high-risk ER cases end-to-end—investigations, policy interpretation, and corrective action—with rigor and neutrality.
  • Act as the HR Business Partner for assigned production lines, connecting people plans to safety, quality, delivery, and cost goals.
  • Coach supervisors and managers on documentation, performance management, and everyday leadership behaviors.
  • Own site ER playbooks, standards, and templates; ensure alignment with enterprise policies and audit readiness.
  • Oversee attendance and performance processes to drive consistent policy application and defensible records.
  • Serve as the site expert on Performance Management and Performance Improvement Plans, from design to follow-through.
  • Analyze ER trends and data to surface insights that reduce risk, strengthen leadership effectiveness, and elevate culture.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, business, labor relations, or a related discipline.
  • 5+ years of progressive HR/Employee Relations experience, including 2+ years leading complex investigations.
  • Deep knowledge of employment law, ER best practices, and performance management.
  • Influence skills that land with frontline leaders and senior managers in a fast-paced setting.
  • Ability to meet the physical demands of a manufacturing environment, with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English).

  • Background supporting manufacturing, production, logistics, or 24/7 operations.
  • Close partnership with operations leaders supporting large frontline teams.
  • Comfort with data, reporting, root-cause analysis, and trend identification.
  • Experience navigating change during line ramp-ups, restructures, or organizational transformations.

Compensation Philosophy

Aspire Bakeries LLC values every Team Member’s contribution. Starting pay depends on multiple factors such as location, shift, education, skills, and relevant experience. The posted range reflects candidates who meet the qualifications listed here; additional compensation may be available for those who exceed them. We offer a comprehensive pay and benefits package, and for union-represented roles, wage rates and ranges are set by applicable collective bargaining agreements.
