Compensation: $60,000 - $70,000
Schedule: Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM-5:00 PM

Responsibilities

As the Employee Relations Specialist, you'll serve as a key member of the HR team, helping ensure employee concerns are handled professionally, consistently, and in a timely manner. This role primarily manages non-Title VII employee relations cases while providing overflow support for more complex investigations when needed.

Key responsibilities include:

• 
  
• Serve as the first point of contact for employee relations questions and concerns
• 
  
• Review incoming employee relations cases and route them to the appropriate HR Business Partner or field leadership when necessary
• 
  
• Manage the intake process for approximately 10-15 employee relations cases each day
• 
  
• Independently investigate and resolve non-Title VII employee relations matters, including attendance, conduct, policy interpretation, and interpersonal workplace concerns
• 
  
• Escalate more complex employee relations issues to the appropriate HR leadership
• 
  
• Monitor open cases and proactively follow up to ensure timely resolution and closure
• 
  
• Assist with overflow Title VII investigations when the Field HR Manager's caseload requires additional support
• 
  
• Maintain accurate case documentation and ensure compliance with company policies and HR best practices
• 
  

Qualifications

Required:

• 
  
• 1-3+ years of employee relations, HR investigations, or workplace case management experience
• 
  
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field (equivalent experience will be considered)
• 
  
• Strong communication, interviewing, and problem-solving skills
• 
  
• Ability to manage multiple cases while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism
• 
  

Preferred:

• 
  
• Experience with Workday
• 
  
• Experience using an employee relations or HR case management system
• 
  
• Working knowledge of employment law, HR best practices, and Title VII/EEO fundamentals
• 
  
• SHRM-CP or PHR certification
• 
  
• Employee relations experience within a Quick Service Restaurant (QSR), retail, hospitality, or other high-volume, multi-location environment
•
