Job Title: Employee Services Coordinator and ADA & Leave specialist
Division: People & Sustainability
Reports To: As per Beazley’s organisation chart
Key Relationships: People & Sustainability, Key Recruitment Agencies, and other external suppliers.
Job Summary: Deliver a client-centered human resources service to all managers and staff that supports the business goals in a timely, efficient, and cost-effective way. Take charge of P&S systems within the People & Sustainability team, according to the P&S systems governance map.
Key Responsibilities:
Human Resources Operations
- Assist with the complete process for new joiners, from issuing contracts to coordinating with third-party benefits providers and conducting first-day induction
- Handle the entire procedure for leavers
- Manage all changes in terms for current employees
- Provide comprehensive support to the business partners and their specific business areas
- Provide advice and mentorship to employees on HR operational procedures and practices
- Maintain accurate and orderly employee records and files on all employees
- Manage all processes associated with absence and leave including parental, adoption, non-birthing parent leave, flexible working requests, holiday, and sickness
- Responsible for managing the global HR inbox, ensuring that all SLA’s are met and that queries are managed appropriately
- Keep the HR system current by entering information promptly
- Participate in HR projects and initiatives as required
Generalist
- Assist throughout the entire process for all benefits administration and keep accurate records, as needed
- Provide support with payroll queries, as needed
- Provide support related to payments/invoices, general point of contact for accounts payable queries
- Support on HR operational requirements for internal and external audits
- Be an HR system super user for our core HR system
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence, mentor, and challenge constructively
Reporting/Analysis
- Prepare HR reports, metrics, and analysis according to requirements
- Provide analytics and HR documentation for management
- Management of headcount information for leavers, starters, and movers
ADA & Leave
- Manage and coordinate employee accommodation requests and leave of absence programs under the ADA, FMLA, and other relevant policies.
- Review medical documentation to determine accommodation needs
- Assess reasonable accommodation options and provide recommendations to management
- Partner with Advisory regarding complex accommodation cases and case management
- Maintain confidential records and documentation relating to accommodations
- Monitor accommodations to ensure ongoing efficiency and compliance
- Collaborator management and manager upskilling
- Documentation and record-keeping; maintain accurate data within HR systems
- Provide expert mentorship to employees on leave, benefits, and workplace accommodation procedures while educating managers on legal obligations, internal policies, and available support options
- Manage sensitive and complex cases with empathy and integrity, addressing employee concerns, facilitating resolution, and bringing up matters where appropriate
Personal Specification:
Education and Qualifications
- BA or equivalent experience preferred
Skills and Abilities
- Accurate and numerate
- Computer skills – good working knowledge of MS Office, intermediate Excel, and maintaining information systems
- Able to communicate effectively with others, both verbally and in writing
- Motivational skills, team worker as well as able to work on own initiative
- The capacity to handle time effectively, fulfill deadlines, and rank tasks by importance
- Confidence in coaching and mentoring People Managers
Knowledge and Experience
- Experience in administration
- Knowledge of HR policies and regulations (multiple countries or global experience preferable)
- Experience in interacting with clients
- Understanding of the need for accurate and timely management information

Salary for this role will be tailored to the successful individual’s location and experience. The expected compensation range for this position is $60,000 - $70,000 per year plus discretionary annual bonus.
