Job Summary

The Employee Services Representative in People & Workplace Culture serves as the first point of contact for PWC, providing Tier 1 support, managing intake, and routing inquiries to appropriate functional areas. Ensure consistent, responsive, and professional experience for all employees.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities & Knowledge Skills & Abilities

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Front-Line Support (Tier 1 Resolution)

  • Respond to walk-in, phone, and email inquiries

  • Resolve routine questions related to:

  • Benefits (basic)

  • Employment processes

  • General HR policies

  • Use established FAQs and guidance

Intake & Case Documentation

  • Log all requests into intake system
  • Capture required details accurately
  • Assign category and priority level
  • Maintain accurate case documentation and status updates

Routing & Coordination

  • Route requests to appropriate PWC units

  • Distinguish between:

  • Transactional requests (process-driven)

  • Consultation needs (specialist/manager-level)

  • Follow up on misrouted or delayed requests

Employee Guidance & Navigation

  • Help employees understand where to go and what to expect
  • Provide clear next steps and timelines
  • Reduce confusion across PWC services

Administrative & Operational Support

  • Maintain documentation
  • Support tracking and reporting processes

  • Knowledge of documentation needed to hire international students/employees.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with a broad range of people with a variety of abilities and backgrounds, to maintain good working relationships across the College.
  • Ability to work with all groups from a variety of academic, socioeconomic, cultural, and ethnic backgrounds, and with community college students, faculty, and staff, including those with disabilities.

Minimum qualifications

  • High School Diploma
  • 2-5 years of customer-facing or administrative experience
  • Strong communication and organizational skills

Associate's degree
