Job Summary: Operate and feed materials by hand to a plastic extrusion line to produce consistent, quality extruded products. Monitor equipment, perform basic adjustments, inspect output, and maintain a clean, safe work area.
Key Responsibilities:
Manually feed raw material into extrusion machine at required pace.
Monitor extrusion process parameters (temperature, pressure, speed) and adjust as instructed.
Inspect extruded parts for defects; perform in-line measurements and visual quality checks.
Remove finished product and stack/package per production guidelines.
Perform routine cleaning and housekeeping around the machine.
Report equipment problems, product defects, or safety incidents immediately.
Follow production schedules and meet daily quotas.
Adhere to all safety policies and PPE requirements.
Work continuously during shift; no scheduled breaks.
Qualifications:
Previous manufacturing or extrusion experience preferred but not required; on-the-job training provided.
Ability to stand for entire shift and perform repetitive hand tasks.
Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs safely.
Basic math and ability to read production orders and simple gauges.
Reliable attendance and punctuality; able to work any assigned shift.
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Working Conditions:
Factory/production floor environment with moderate noise, heat near equipment, and exposure to plastic materials.
Mandatory PPE (safety glasses, gloves, steel-toe shoes, etc.).
No scheduled breaks during shift.
