Our client is seeking an Employment Attorney with 3-5 years of experience to join its growing Omaha office. Management-side employment law focus with significant autonomy, direct client interaction, and a clear path toward leadership and partnership.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Represent employers in employment-related litigation including wrongful termination and discrimination claims
- Advise employers on federal and state employment laws and workplace policies
- Draft employee handbooks, employment agreements, and related documents
- Represent employers before administrative agencies including the EEOC
- Handle workplace investigations and regulatory inquiries
- Assist in expanding the employment law practice
QUALIFICATIONS:
- JD required with Nebraska Bar admission or ability to obtain
- 3-5+ years of employment law experience
- Management-side employment law experience preferred
- Employment litigation experience
- Employment counseling and advisory experience
- Strong understanding of federal and state employment laws
- Excellent legal research and writing skills
PREFERRED:
- Portable book of business
- EEOC or state agency representation experience
- Business development interest
