We are seeking an experienced Labor & Employment Attorney to support our client'sgrowing transactional practice, with a primary focus on advising on employment-related matters in mergers & acquisitions and corporate transactions.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide labor & employment support in M&A transactions, including due diligence, risk assessment, and deal structuringAdvise clients on employment-related compliance issues under federal, state, and local lawsDraft and negotiate:Employment agreementsRestrictive covenant agreementsSeparation and retention agreementsExecutive compensation and related documentsReview and advise on employee policies, handbooks, and workplace practicesCounsel clients on employment law risks related to corporate transactions and business operationsQualificationsJD from an accredited law schoolActive law license (Illinois preferred; open to other states)5-8years of experience, ideally in labor & employment with transactional exposureStrong understanding of employment laws, including:Title VII, ADA, ADEA, FLSA, and state equivalentsExperience supporting M&A or corporate transactions strongly preferredExcellent drafting, analytical, and communication skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment#J-18808-Ljbffr
