Scion Staffing has been engaged to conduct a search for a Litigation Associate Attorney for a highly respected California litigation firm specializing in Employment Litigation matters. This role is based in the South Bay area of Los Angeles Metro.

Employment Law Associate Attorney

Location: South Bay, Los Angeles - in office with flexibility

Compensation: $120,000-$220,000 DOE + bonus & origination

A well-established plaintiff-side employment law firm in the South Bay area of Los Angeles is seeking a Litigation Associate Attorney with 2-7 years of experience to join its growing practice. This firm handles sophisticated, high-value matters and offers associates meaningful responsibility, competitive compensation, and long-term growth opportunities.

Practice Overview

• Primarily wage and hour class actions
• Additional individual employment litigation, including discrimination, retaliation, and FEHA claims
• Active litigation in both California state and federal courts

Responsibilities

• Manage employment litigation matters from inception through resolution
• Draft pleadings, discovery, mediation briefs, and class action settlement agreements
• Take and defend depositions
• Appear at hearings, mediations, and court proceedings
• Work directly with clients and play a key role in case strategy
• Collaborate closely with partners while operating with a high degree of autonomy

Qualifications

• 2-7 years of employment litigation experience
• Strong background in wage and hour class actions required
• Experience litigating in state and federal court
• Excellent legal writing, advocacy, and client communication skills
• Ability to independently manage cases and deadlines
• California Bar admission in good standing
• JD or Equivalent from accredited law school

Compensation & Benefits

• Base salary: $120,000-$220,000 (commensurate with experience)
