Pay: $200,000.00 - $350,000.00 per year

Location:

Encino, California. Enjoy a flexible hybrid schedule with three days in the office and two days working remotely.

Note:

This role requires at least 3 years of experience as an attorney and at least 1 year of defense side employment litigation experience representing employers or management.

Job Description

• Represent employers and management in employment litigation matters.
• Handle cases involving a broad range of labor and employment law issues.
• Manage litigation matters through discovery, motion practice, depositions, hearings, and other stages of the litigation process.
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery, and other legal documents.
• Conduct legal research and develop effective litigation strategies.
• Take and defend depositions and participate in hearings and court appearances.
• Work directly with clients to understand business objectives and provide practical legal guidance.
• Collaborate with experienced attorneys and contribute to successful case outcomes.
• Take increasing ownership of matters as your experience and capabilities grow.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience practicing as an attorney.
• 1+ year of defense side employment litigation experience.
• Experience representing employers, management, or other management side clients in employment matters.
• Strong legal research, writing, analytical, and advocacy skills.
• Experience with discovery, motion practice, depositions, and general litigation procedures.
• Ability to manage multiple matters and work effectively in a collaborative legal environment.
• Active California Bar membership is required.
