A respected law firm is seeking an Employment & Litigation Attorney to join its Litigation Practice Group. This is an excellent opportunity to handle sophisticated litigation while serving as a trusted advisor to businesses, governmental entities, and individuals.

What You'll Do

• Manage civil litigation from case assessment through trial, appeal, or resolution
• Represent clients in litigation, investigations, administrative proceedings, mediations, arbitrations, and negotiations
• Advise employers on federal, state, and local employment laws
• Counsel clients on workplace investigations, employee relations, accommodations, leave, wage & hour matters, discipline, and terminations
• Draft and review employment policies, handbooks, agreements, and related documents
• Develop strong client relationships and contribute to business development and practice growth

What We're Looking For

J.D. from an accredited law school
Active Iowa license or ability to obtain admission promptly
5+ years of employment, labor, and/or litigation experience
Strong legal research, writing, negotiation, and courtroom advocacy skills
Ability to independently manage clients and a caseload
Practical, business-minded approach to solving client challenges
