This role is ideal for an attorney who enjoys being in the courtroom, managing cases end -to -end, and taking ownership of complex employment litigation matters. Position Overview<\/span><\/span><\/b><\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/h3>

The Employment Litigation Attorney will be responsible for handling a full caseload of employment -related disputes, representing clients in both state and federal court. This role requires strong litigation experience, strategic thinking, and the ability to independently manage cases from intake through resolution.<\/span><\/span>

Key Responsibilities<\/span><\/span><\/b><\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/div>
  • Manage a full caseload of employment litigation matters from inception through trial
    <\/span><\/span><\/li>
  • Represent clients in state and federal court, including hearings, depositions, mediations, and trials
    <\/span><\/span><\/li>
  • Handle cases involving wrongful termination, discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and wage and hour disputes
    <\/span><\/span><\/li>
  • Draft and argue motions, including dispositive motions (motions to dismiss, summary judgment)
    <\/span><\/span><\/li>
  • Conduct discovery, including drafting and responding to written discovery and taking/defending depositions
    <\/span><\/span><\/li>
  • Develop case strategy and provide litigation risk assessments to clients
    <\/span><\/span><\/li>
  • Negotiate settlements and represent clients in mediation and arbitration
    <\/span><\/span><\/li>
  • Collaborate with internal teams while maintaining ownership of case outcomes<\/span><\/span>

    ​<\/span><\/span>Qualifications<\/span><\/span><\/b><\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/div>
    • Licensed attorney in the state of Colorado (or ability to obtain licensure)
      <\/span><\/span><\/li>
    • 3+ years of employment litigation experience
      <\/span><\/span><\/li>
    • Proven experience managing cases independently and appearing in court
      <\/span><\/span><\/li>
    • Strong motion practice and deposition experience
      <\/span><\/span><\/li>
    • Excellent legal writing, research, and oral advocacy skills
      <\/span><\/span><\/li>
    • Ability to handle a high -volume caseload and meet deadlines<\/span><\/span>
