Employment Litigation Attorney

Job Overview A law firm seeks an experienced Employment Litigation Attorney to join their team in Seattle, Washington. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in wage and hour law and a commitment to advocating for employee rights. This role involves representing clients in employment-related claims before federal and state courts and arbitrators.Duties Defend and take depositions.Draft meet and confer letters regarding discovery issues.Argue motions and draft discovery and dispositive motions.Conduct arbitrations and prepare for mediations.Prepare cases for trial and perform in-depth legal research.Communicate with outside parties, including attorneys and administrative agencies.Manage all aspects of cases, ensuring deadlines are met.Aid in the expansion of the firm's California practice.Requirements Minimum 4-9 years of relevant legal experience.Substantial experience in litigating and managing complex cases.Expertise in wage and hour law.Proficiency in all stages of the litigation process.Excellent oral and written communication skills.Ability to work independently and within a team.Licensed to practice law in Washington State.Education Juris Doctor (JD) required.Certifications Licensed to practice law in Washington State.Skills Strong litigation skills, including drafting pleadings and conducting depositions.Effective communication and advocacy skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Benefits Comprehensive benefits package.Opportunities for career advancement.Supportive and dynamic work environment.#J-18808-Ljbffr
