    Position at Community Options Enterprises

    Community Options, Inc. is a national non-profit agency providing services to individuals with disabilities in 12 states.

    We are actively seeking a Full-Time Employment Manager in Burlington County, NJ OR Atlantic County, NJ. The Employment Manger develops appropriate employment opportunities geared towards all levels and needs for people with disabilities. This person is responsible for the development and implantation of the employment program both programmatically and fiscally, ensuring financial goals are met. This person will work collaboratively with other programs and ensure the employment goals for the individuals supported are met 

    Starting Pay is $65,000/ per year

    Responsibilities 

    • Manage and coordinate community-based vocational and employment programs 
    • Supervise, evaluate, and provide direct support to employment specialists
    • Responsible for contract disbursements for community-based programs
    • Establish a method of job placement that includes a survey of potential job openings and facilitate interviews with potential employers and participants 
    • Network with business leaders in the community to increase employment opportunities for persons with disabilities 
    • Assist with grant development for vocation and employment programs
    • Perform all duties necessary, in compliance with state approved objectives for Home and Community-Based Services (HCS)
    • Report program status to the Executive Director on a regular basis
    • Employee must cooperate with the license and department staff in any inspection, inquiry, or investigation

    Minimum Requirements 

    • Bachelor degree required 
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
    • Knowledge of Microsoft Office
    • Ability to aid in the training of people with disabilities on the required curriculum
    • Ability to effectively work under pressure, meet deadlines, and provide multiple supports to multiple participants
    • Employment is contingent upon successful completion of checks of criminal background, central registry, child abuse registry, and drug testing
