Primary duty

This position is responsible for activating new hires by inputting information into the HR Information System. Additionally, they will assist with the handling of employee file maintenance and releasing information in compliance with both federal/state regulations and HIPAA standards. Assignments/tasks are expected to be executed with considerable independence and maintain compliance with established facility policies and procedures, contract requirements, organization bylaws, and federal and state regulations/laws.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• High School Diploma and (2) years of experience in Human Resources or general office management.
• An associate degree in HR or Business-related field may substitute for two (2) years of required experience.
• Must have the ability to work independently with good decision-making skills.
• Must have strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize responsibilities.
• Must be able to maintain effective working relationships with internal and external customers.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• The position requires proficient computer skills and must be able to use Microsoft Office to complete tasks.
• Must be able to pass organization screening requirements, including state or federal background screenings as appropriate.

$17.50-$18.75, commensurate with experience.
