We are seeking a dedicated Employment Skills Instructor (ESI) to lead weekly job readiness workshops and provide individualized support to adults with disabilities preparing for employment. This role requires strong communication, flexibility, and a passion for helping others grow. This person will support individuals in both Muskegon and Ottawa counties.
Lead weekly job readiness workshops on topics such as stress management, interview skills, time management, and workplace communication
Adapt curriculum materials provided by the Program Manager to meet the learning needs of each client
Provide both group instruction and one-on-one instruction
Track participant progress, complete documentation, and support report writing
Recommend next steps for clients based on progress and employment readiness
Maintain professional boundaries and work independently while supporting program goals
Experience working with adults with disabilities or in a similar human services or education role preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and adapt materials to individual learning levels
Comfortable with data tracking and documentation
High school diploma or equivalent required; additional training or certification a plus
