Employment Specialist/Job Coach (Intellectual Disabilities)

Are you a strong communicator who enjoys building relationships and helping others succeed? We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Full-Time Job Coach to support individuals—primarily those with intellectual and developmental disabilities with maintaining meaningful employment. This role involves hands-on community engagement and individualized job coaching.The ideal candidate is an effective communicator who is patient, empathetic, and a strong advocate for the individuals they support. They demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills, professionalism, and a genuine commitment to helping others succeed.Key Responsibilities

• Provide on-site job coaching, training, and follow-up support to promote long-term employment success.
• Advocate for workplace accommodations and encourage self-advocacy and confidence.
• Maintain timely, accurate, and professional documentation of services and individual progress.
• Maintaining well-written documentation of support provided.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• Ability to establish trusting relationships with individuals and community employers
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
• ACRE OR CESP certification preferred
• High school diploma required
• Experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities preferred
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and active auto insurance required
• Willingness to travel up to 45 minutes to one hour between client locations
