Overview:
LABUR is partnering with a client to identify an experienced EMR Migration Architect. This architect-level resource will provide independent architectural oversight during a critical EMR migration from Signature EMR to Instinct EMR. Reporting directly to the Project Manager, this role focuses on vetting the technical plan, validating integration points, and ensuring the overall architecture is sound before and during the transition. This role is fully remote.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and validate the overall technical architecture for the EMR migration from Signature EMR to Instinct EMR
- Review and vet the technical project plan, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and industry best practices
- Assess how Instinct EMR will interact with existing systems, identifying risks, gaps, and dependencies across the integration landscape
- Independently evaluate vendor-provided technical recommendations from Instinct EMR, delivering unbiased architectural guidance
- Validate how all technologies within the ecosystem converge to support a seamless, low-risk migration
- Collaborate with the Project Manager to ensure architectural decisions support project timelines and deliverables
Qualifications:
- Proven experience serving in an architect-level role within healthcare IT environments
- Strong EMR knowledge with direct experience supporting or leading EMR migrations
- Deep understanding of data architecture and data flows within clinical systems
- Ability to critically assess and challenge vendor-provided technical recommendations
Compensation:
$85-$90/hr - Dependent on fit and experience
