The general responsibilities of the EMS Adjunct Instructor include the skillful and knowledgeable delivery of EMS program content, including classroom and laboratory teaching, national testing preparatory work, and involvement in the placement of students in field experiences. This position reports to the EMS Program Head and to the Dean of Health Sciences. Adjunct faculty may teach a maximum of the equivalent of 10 workload credits in fall and spring semesters and eight workload credits in the summer term. Teaching assignments are negotiated with the Dean of Health Sciences to include campus hours of instruction and teaching load. Day, evening, and weekend teaching options may be available to accommodate the facultys schedule.
