MCRHC is a 25-bed critical access hospital, including a Level 4 Trauma Center Emergency Room seeing 3,200 visits annually. The Surgical Services department performs over 1,300 procedures annually, including specialties General Surgery, Orthopedics, ENT, Urology, Ophthalmology, Pain management, and Podiatry.We are proud to share our strong tradition of excellence, progress and solid economic performance. Founded more than 75 years ago as a community hospital, today we operate three clinics, 24/7 emergency services, inpatient and outpatient medical/surgical services. We have invested millions in facility upgrades just in the last few years. Primary duties are staffing a second crew call position and driving inter-facility transfers. The position functions to support the policies and procedures of the Ambulance Dept. and the Mitchell Co. Regional Health Center. This position maintains the highest possible standards to provide the highest level of care and treatment to persons using the ambulance service. Hours: All HoursShift: All ShiftsPay: $15.94, increases with experience. Position Qualifications EducationCurrent BLS CertficateExperiencePrevious healthcare or Ambulance experience preferredSpecial Skills & AptitudesMust be 21 years of age.Current state Driver's License in good standing and insurableSatisfactory driving record in accordance with the MCEMS Driving Policy.Excellent communication and customer service skills.Ability to work cooperatively with other employees and medical agencies to provide the highest level of patient care.Ability to read and interpret all required documents and write required reports and correspondence.Ensure that all required Certifications are current and remain current.Attend all MCEMS required OSHA training, annual training, and all mandatory Company updates.Complete the training in the allotted time the Company sets.Maintain knowledge about job and medical field. The Legal Items:Reference Checks-Pre-OfferPost offer drug screen is required.Background Check-Post Offer AcceptancePre-Employment Screening Post offer acceptanceMCRHC is an equal opportunity employer.Verification of required vaccinations at offer acceptance.
