Job Summary
State Fire Rescue Training Area 15/BCTC is seeking qualified and motivated candidates for the position of EMS-Paramedic Instructor/Program Director.

Job Duties:
Administration, organization, and supervision of the educational program
Continuous quality review and improvement of the educational program
Long range planning and ongoing development of the program
Effectiveness of the program, including instruction and faculty, with systems in place to demonstrate the effectiveness of the program
Cooperative involvement with the medical director
Orientation/training and supervision of clinical and field internship preceptors
The Program Director must be responsible for all aspects of the program, including, but not limited to:
Effectiveness and quality of fulfillment of responsibilities delegated to another qualified individual
Other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor''s degree and minimum of four (4) years certified or licensed as a Paramedic.
Provide documentation that two (2) years of the four (4) years' experience required is experience providing care with an EMS organization that complies with the requirements.
Be knowledgeable about the current versions of the National EMS Scope of Practice and National EMS Education Standards and evidenced-informed clinical practice.
Provide proof of completion of a KBEMS approved EMS educator course that meets the objectives of the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) and possess a valid KBEMS Level III Instructor certification.
