Responsibilities

• Assist in HVAC DDC and EMS design and submittal reviews.
• Analyze utility data to identify schools for recommissioning.
• Evaluate EMS, energy data, and alarms for energy conservation opportunities.
• Conduct site visits to assess EMS/DDC conditions.
• Implement low-cost solutions for EMS system improvements.
• Respond to trouble calls and troubleshoot electrical and DDC issues.
• Support in-house commissioning projects.

Requirements

• Minimum of three years' experience as an HVAC DDC technician.
• Understanding of computer networking principles.
• Ability to troubleshoot HVAC DDC maintenance issues.
• Fundamental understanding of HVAC operations.
• Bachelor's or associate degree in engineering or a related field OR a two-year technical degree with additional experience.

Preferences

• Experience with multiple DDC manufacturers such as Automated Logic and Trane.
• Proven ability to debug installation issues.
• Experience supporting installation personnel on project sites.
• Experience in commissioning EMS.
