Responsibilities
- Assist in HVAC DDC and EMS design and submittal reviews.
- Analyze utility data to identify schools for recommissioning.
- Evaluate EMS, energy data, and alarms for energy conservation opportunities.
- Conduct site visits to assess EMS/DDC conditions.
- Implement low-cost solutions for EMS system improvements.
- Respond to trouble calls and troubleshoot electrical and DDC issues.
- Support in-house commissioning projects.
Requirements
- Minimum of three years' experience as an HVAC DDC technician.
- Understanding of computer networking principles.
- Ability to troubleshoot HVAC DDC maintenance issues.
- Fundamental understanding of HVAC operations.
- Bachelor's or associate degree in engineering or a related field OR a two-year technical degree with additional experience.
Preferences
- Experience with multiple DDC manufacturers such as Automated Logic and Trane.
- Proven ability to debug installation issues.
- Experience supporting installation personnel on project sites.
- Experience in commissioning EMS.
