Pay: $24.00-$$27.00 an hour
Requirements: Minimum 3 years on encapsulation experience

Job description

This position is responsible for all activities related to the encapsulation of the product as per formula instructions Work is semi-routine in nature, following detailed established processes and procedures.

Essential Functions:
• Performs any combination of following tasks to encapsulate electrical and electronic parts, components, and assemblies with epoxy, plastic and other protective coating material.
• Reads and interprets assembly drawings, parts lists, operation sheets, manufacturing procedures and visual aids.
• Monitors and controls the curing process to ensure proper adhesion and quality.
• Conducts checks on finished products to ensure compliance with specs and standards.
• Perform and document completed work via a traveler. Ensures correct specification and function criteria are met per the manufacturing instructions.
• Meets productivity standards; completes work in timely manner; meets commitments.
• Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness; monitors own work to ensure quality.
• Weighs and mixes encapsulating material. Following a prescribed formula.
• Fills capacitor shells or semiconductor caps with encapsulating fluid or applies encapsulating fluid to specified surfaces on component using manually or electrically powered syringe or other applicator.
• Performs visual and dimensional inspections for in-process assemblies and finished products
• Dexterity to handle small parts.

Additional Duties:
• Perform other duties as required or assigned.
• Must possess excellent analytical, organizational, and communicational skills.
• Ability to function under minimal supervision.
• This position requires sitting for long periods of time.

EDUCATION REQUIRED:
• High School Diploma or equivalent

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
• Minimum of 3 years of encapsulation experience.
