End-User Device Deployment Technician

Kforce has a client that is seeking an End-User Device Deployment Technician in Coral Gables, FL. Key Responsibilities:

• Device Provisioning & Configuration: Image, configure, and deploy laptops, workstations, iPads, monitors, and peripherals/accessories in accordance with organizational standards and security policies
• Asset Lifecycle Management: Track and maintain accurate asset records within the CMDB (ServiceNow), including device assignments, transfers, and decommissions
• End-User Support: Provide hands-on technical assistance during device deployments, hardware refreshes, and new hire onboarding to ensure minimal disruption to operations
• Quality Assurance: Perform pre- and post-deployment validation to confirm devices meet functional and compliance requirements
• Inventory Management: Maintain organized inventory of devices and accessories, coordinating with procurement and logistics as needed
• Documentation: Create and maintain accurate deployment records, procedures, and knowledge base articles
• Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline deployment processes, reduce deployment cycle times, and improve end-user satisfaction
• Storm readiness and recovery: Maintain, manage, inventory, and provision end-user devices and Starlink equipment during storm restoration efforts

Requirements:

• High School diploma/GED or equivalent; Associate's degree in IT or related field preferred
• 1-3 years of experience in end-user computing, desktop support, or IT field services
• Experience with MDM/UEM platforms (e.g., Intune, JAMF, or equivalent)
• Familiarity with Windows OS, macOS, and iOS device management
• Strong understanding of hardware components and peripheral connectivity

Preferred:

• Experience with ServiceNow or equivalent CMDB/ticketing platforms
• Experience with Active Directory
• Familiarity with UPS Enterprise Shipping/Tracking and Management
• Knowledge of enterprise imaging and deployment tools
