Job Summary
The End User Experience Administrator provides hands-on deskside support for our end-user community along with day-to-day administration of the Windows Endpoint estate, with all work tracked in our ITSM tool. Scope spans software, hardware, network, telecommunication, and conference room systems; deskside and walk-up support; and endpoint provisioning and device asset management through ServiceNow, Microsoft Intune, Windows Autopilot, and Configuration Manager. This role extends beyond technical expertise - it isn't just about fixing applications and technology, it's about building relationships with quality, care, empathy, and expediency.
This onsite role is based in our Houston Corporate office and requires daily in-person support for the corporate population, with periodic travel to field sites to support local users.
Responsibilities
Provide Level 1 and Level 2 support for business and enterprise applications - prioritizing tickets and inquiries, delivering workarounds and solutions quickly, and keeping work tickets, incidents, and outages accurately and promptly updated
Maintain awareness of company system environment to ensure the highest level of service and support the organization.
Document and maintain knowledge base articles, how-to videos, and quick reference guides to improve customer experience and share knowledge with the team, using approved AI tools to draft content, generate and review scripts, and accelerate diagnostics - validating output before acting on it and following Company AI use and data handling policies
Recognize recurring problems, identify root causes, and escalate required remediations to management.
Provide deskside, walk-up, and remote support for software and hardware issues promptly and effectively in a high-touch environment. This includes the following types of support:
Application support
Account and access issues
Windows OS and application troubleshooting
Hardware diagnostics and repair
Printer management for local and networked systems
Software installation and deployment to users and groups
Mobile device provisioning
AV setup & support for meetings
Ensure adherence to all compliance measures related to end-user privacy, always safeguarding sensitive information and upholding confidentiality standards
Perform day-to-day user and device account administration in Microsoft Entra ID and on-premises Active Directory, including account provisioning and deprovisioning, group membership, license assignment, MFA and new-hire/offboarding device readiness
Administer and maintain the Windows and mobile endpoint estate in Microsoft Intune, Windows Autopilot, and Configuration Manager (SCCM/MECM), including device enrollment, configuration profiles, and compliance policies
Support the endpoint security controls maintained by the security team - including BitLocker encryption, Microsoft Defender Endpoint Protection, and device-based conditional access compliance - applying configurations as directed and promptly alerting the security team to suspected incidents and endpoint security issues
Support hardware lifecycle and asset management for corporate devices - intake, staging, imaging, deployment, refresh cycles, reclamation, and secure disposal - maintaining accurate asset and inventory records
Assist with hardware vendor and service provider coordination on warranty claims, RMAs, repairs, and spare-parts inventory for corporate and field-site devices
Provision, configure, and support conference rooms and AV equipment, including Teams Rooms Pro devices
Support onsite technology needs for the corporate population, including meeting and event support for leadership
Use PowerShell scripting, approved AI tools and automation to streamline repetitive endpoint administration, reporting, and remediation tasks
Monitor endpoint health, performance, and compliance using Intune reporting, remediating issues as they are identified
Serve as the onsite escalation point for the remote service desk, taking hands-on ownership of any issue requiring physical access to a device, user, or facility
Provide recommendations for areas of improvement and innovations that improve the end-user experience and operational efficiency
Contribute to endpoint and end-user experience initiatives under the direction of senior team members - executing assigned tasks, tracking progress, and reporting on outcomes
Participate in a rotating after-hours on-call schedule with the team, providing evening and weekend coverage for business-critical incidents and scheduled maintenance or deployment windows
Meet defined service-level targets and ticket quality standards, contributing to team reporting on ticket volume, aging, and customer satisfaction
Takes full ownership of a problem through to completion with strong follow-through, driving issues to resolution without needing to be prompted

The individual is required to follow all applicable safety precautions. Work is performed almost entirely in a controlled (i.e., inside) environment and does not typically subject the incumbent to any hazardous/extreme elements; some positions may require regularly moving or transporting items weighing up to 25 lbs. around the office for various needs, including occasional work under desks and in equipment rooms. The successful candidate must be able to complete all essential physical requirements of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.
