    Join Health First's established and thriving endocrinology team in Florida and step into a high-volume, stable practice with immediate patient demand. Whether you're a new graduate or an experienced endocrinologist, you'll have the opportunity to build a full schedule quickly while working alongside a supportive team in a collaborative environment.

    Position Highlights

    • Established, high-volume endocrinology practice
    • Monday-Friday schedule
    • Full patient panel available as soon as desired
    • Bread-and-butter endocrinology with excellent clinical variety
    • New graduates and experienced physicians encouraged to apply
    • Typical volume of 6-20 patients per day once ramped up
    • Strong referral network and consistent patient demand
    • Collegial, team-oriented practice environment

    Clinical Scope

    Provide comprehensive endocrine care, including:

    • Diabetes management
    • Thyroid disorders
    • Hormonal disorders and testing
    • Osteoporosis and metabolic conditions
    • Imaging interpretation (ultrasound/MRI)
    • Endocrine procedures and biopsies

    Procedures

    • Ultrasound-guided thyroid nodule biopsies available at Gateway location (not required)
    • Hormone testing and diagnostic evaluations
    • Imaging review and interpretation
    • Thyroid and endocrine biopsies

    Call Responsibilities

    • Very light hospital and practice call coverage
    • Up to 10 consecutive days of call coverage
    • Hospital call through Holmes Regional Medical Center
    • Primarily phone-based consults and medication adjustments
    • Rarely required to come into the hospital
    • Common call topics include diabetes management, gestational diabetes, and non-emergent endocrine issues
    • No frequent overnight emergencies
    • Hospital and practice call taken simultaneously

    Qualifications

    • Board Eligible/Board Certified in Endocrinology
    • Completion of Internal Medicine residency and Endocrinology fellowship
    • New graduates welcome
    • Strong commitment to patient-centered care
