Endocrinologist - Full-Time, Permanent Position | Southern Arizona VA Health Care System (Tucson, AZ)

We are in search of a passionate, board-certified Endocrinologist to become part of our multidisciplinary Endocrinology Division, providing outstanding care to Veterans and contributing to the education of future medical professionals.

Position Highlights:
  • Full-Time, Permanent (Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM)

  • Deliver comprehensive endocrinology services to Veterans in both inpatient and outpatient environments.

  • Engage in ongoing quality improvement projects.

  • Instruct and oversee medical students, residents, and fellows from the University of Arizona College of Medicine.

  • Participate in and contribute to scholarly activities; VA investigators with Merit Review Awards may be eligible for up to 35% protected research time.

  • Maintain BLS certification from the American Heart Association and adhere to VA and organizational regulatory standards.

Qualifications:
  • M.D. or D.O. degree (or equivalent)

  • Board Certified in Endocrinology (ABIM)

  • Eligibility for faculty appointment at the University of Arizona, based on experience and achievements

  • Current, valid, and unrestricted medical license in any U.S. State or Territory

  • U.S. Citizenship (Non-U.S. citizens may be considered according to VA guidelines)

  • Completion of Residency Training in the USA

Compensation & Benefits:
  • Competitive Salary: $245,000 - $275,000 per year, with eligibility for annual performance bonuses and regular salary increases.
