Our endocrinology department consists of five skilled physicians, one nurse practitioner, and one physician assistant, all collaborating to broaden our impact and improve the quality of care we provide. Key Responsibilities
  • Conducting duties in accordance with established standards for age groups ranging from adolescents to geriatrics, while accommodating individuals with disabilities.
  • Supervising and issuing orders for all medical procedures and prescribing referrals as necessary.
  • Overseeing the administration of medication protocols.
  • Collaborating with staff to ensure that all documentation related to care, treatment, and incidents is completed clearly, concisely, and promptly.
  • Dictating patient care notes and adhering to all medical record requirements.
  • Managing the Department of Endocrinology across various counties including Prince George's, Anne Arundel, Talbot, and Queen Anne's.
Qualifications
  • Graduate of an accredited medical school (Doctorate degree).
  • Completion of residency in the relevant specialty.
  • Board Certified in Internal Medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine; Specialty Board Certified or Board-Eligible in Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism.
  • Possess a current and unrestricted medical license to practice in Maryland (including DEA license).
