What You’ll Do:
Provide outpatient endocrine care to adult and geriatric patients
Manage common endocrine conditions including thyroid disorders, diabetes, and pituitary issues
Perform procedures such as fine-needle aspiration (FNA)
Collaborate with support staff including RNs, diabetes educators, and dietitians
Document patient encounters efficiently in EPIC EMR
Contribute to a caring, patient-centered clinical environment
Support and maintain high standards of clinical care and documentation
What You Need:
MD/DO license in Illinois
Board Certification or Eligibility in Endocrinology
BLS certification
At least 1 year of relevant clinical experience
Strong knowledge of thyroid, diabetes, and pituitary disorders
Can perform FNA procedures
Excellent communication and patient management skills
About the Assignment: This outpatient endocrinology position supports a dedicated clinic caring for adult and geriatric patients. The clinic operates Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm, with scheduled patient loads of 12-15 per day. Support staff includes RNs, a diabetes educator, and dietitian, working in a well-established facility utilizing EPIC EMR. The provider will have the opportunity to work independently with confident clinical decision-making, managing common endocrine conditions and performing fine-needle aspirations as needed.
