amazing LEAD Endodontic Dental Assistant to join our growing specialty practice!
At Sacramento Valley Dental Specialists, we believe great dentistry starts with a great team. We are looking for someone who is
organized, dependable, team-oriented, and passionate about creating an outstanding patient experience. This position will split time between our two offices (Elk Grove on Laguna Springs Blvd & Sacramento on Fair Oaks Blvd/Howe Ave) as needed and will work 1-2 Saturdays a month.
What You’ll Do:
Assist the doctor during endodontic procedures, including root canals and retreatments
Prepare treatment rooms and maintain sterilization standards
Take high-quality radiographs and CBCT scans
Support patients with compassion and reassurance throughout treatment
Maintain accurate clinical records and charting
Work collaboratively with a positive, high-performing team

What We’re Looking For:
Endodontic or specialty dental assisting experience required - 2+ years preferred
Experience in assisting endodontists who are left-handed or right-handed
Working at a fast-paced while maintaining a compassionate, professional work environment
X-ray certification required
Strong attention to detail and excellent organization skills
A calm, confident, and patient-centered attitude
Someone who values teamwork, professionalism, and positivity
