Job Description:


_Winchester Hospital is a 5x Magnet designated, Top 10 Massachusetts recognized 223-bed regional hospital that is the leading provider of comprehensive health care services in the northwest suburban Boston area._


As an Endoscopy Tech for our Endoscopy Team, you will be responsible for the following:


+ preparing rooms and equipment.

+ assisting with patient care to facilitate an orderly, efficient and safe clinical environment.

+ ensuring the equipment and scopes are properly cleaned and disinfected.

+ providing quality and safe patient care.

+ Facilitating patients in and out of procedure room.

+ Independently performs turn over of procedure rooms (remove used scopes; changing over suction & O2 tubing; performs terminal cleaning of equipment, setting up room, inspects equipment and Endosoft to insure proper functioning) ensures expedient turnaround time in a neat environment.

+ Obtain vital signs and record findings





Education:


Required:


+ High School Diploma or equivalent And

+ Completion of a Certified Nurse’s Assistant course Or

+ Nursing Student with two completed clinical rotations


Experience:


Required: Phlebotomy, EKG or Nursing Assistant


Preferred : ACU or Medical/Surgical


BLS is required


This is a 40 hour day position
