    Description

    We are seeking an Full-time Endoscopy Technician that is skilled, compassionate, professional, and is committed to providing excellent quality care. As a member of the endoscopy team you will be trained to function in an assistive role while delivering safe patient care including: pre-operatively, intra-operatively, and post-operatively.

    Monday-Friday. No weekends, No holidays and No call.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • Outgoing, positive attitude toward co-employees, management, patients, visitors, and physicians.
    • Ability to think critically, make logical decisions, and solve problems.
    • Strong ethical and moral character references
    • Proficient and respectful communication skills.
    • Basic computer skills
    • BLS Certification Required.
    • High School Diploma or GED, required.
    • Knowledge of medical terminology.
    • Endoscopy Technician Certification, preferred.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Demonstrates an attitude that is caring, respectful, sensitive, tactful, compassionate, empathetic, and tolerance.
    • Provides a safe environment for the patient.
    • Promotes patient and physician satisfaction.
    • Assists in preparing patient for designated procedure as requested by physician.
    • Assists physician during endoscopy procedure.
    • Handles patient specimens per policy.
    • After the procedure, restocks supplies as appropriate for the next procedure or end of the day.
    • Works collaboratively with the healthcare team.
    • Assures high level disinfection and/or sterility of instruments and supplies according to policy and procedure.
