Endoscopy Unit - CMC - Registered Nurse - Cayuga Medical Center

Required Skills:
Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of New York.
Proven clinical experience in endoscopy, gastroenterology, or similar procedural settings.
Strong knowledge of endoscopic procedures, pre-and post-procedure patient care, and sterile techniques.
Excellent assessment, critical thinking, and decision-making skills.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with patients and healthcare team members.
Ability to work independently and efficiently under pressure.
Nice to Have Skills:
Certification in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) or Basic Life Support (BLS).
Experience with sedation monitoring and administration.
Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems.
Bilingual abilities to assist a diverse patient population.
Preferred Education and Experience:
Associates or Bachelors Degree in Nursing (ADN or BSN).
Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, with a preference for those with procedural or endoscopy unit experience.
Other Requirements:
Availability for the scheduled shift (7:00 am 5:30 pm) with on-call responsibilities.
Ability to respond promptly during on-call hours for emergent situations.
Flexibility to work overtime or weekends as needed.
Knowledge of HIPAA privacy and confidentiality standards.
Must maintain current licensure and certifications.
Compensation for this role is an hourly rate of $68.34, with benefits including comprehensive medical coverage, weekly pay via direct deposit, paid sick time, licensure, certification, travel and reimbursements as applicable, and participation in a robust referral bonus program.
