Endpoint Administrator (Contract-to-Hire)

Overview
A large enterprise organization is seeking an Endpoint Administrator to design, implement, and support enterprise endpoint management solutions across a distributed IT environment. This role is responsible for ensuring device security, scalability, and operational efficiency across Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android platforms.

The ideal candidate brings strong expertise in Microsoft Intune, endpoint provisioning, and automation, along with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues and collaborate across a broad network of IT teams.



Core ResponsibilitiesEndpoint Management & Engineering
  • Design, test, and deploy enterprise endpoint solutions using Microsoft Intune (MDM/MAM)
  • Manage device configurations, OS deployments, and software distribution across multiple platforms
  • Standardize configurations for desktops, laptops, and mobile devices to ensure consistency and compatibility
  • Support Windows Autopilot provisioning and device lifecycle management
Application Deployment & Packaging
  • Package and deploy Win32 applications using Microsoft Intune and Patch My PC
  • Manage application updates, version control, and deployment strategies
  • Ensure seamless software distribution and endpoint compliance
Incident Management & Troubleshooting
  • Triage and resolve complex IT tickets escalated from internal IT teams
  • Provide advanced troubleshooting for endpoint performance, configuration, and connectivity issues
  • Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) for endpoint technologies and best practices
Automation & Scripting
  • Develop and maintain automation scripts using PowerShell and PSADT
  • Streamline endpoint management tasks, deployments, and operational workflows
  • Improve efficiency through process automation and tooling enhancements
Mobility & Device Enrollment
  • Manage mobile device enrollment and lifecycle using:
    • Apple Business Manager (ADE, VPP)
    • Android Zero-Touch Enrollment
  • Support cross-platform endpoint environments including Windows 11, macOS, iOS, and Android
Documentation & Continuous Improvement
  • Maintain detailed documentation of endpoint configurations, deployments, and processes
  • Support pilot programs and evaluation of new endpoint technologies
  • Participate in knowledge-sharing sessions and best practice development
  • Stay current with industry trends, tools, and endpoint security practices



Qualifications & ExperienceExperience
  • 3+ years of experience managing endpoint devices using Microsoft Intune (MDM/MAM)
  • 3+ years of experience with Windows imaging and Autopilot provisioning
  • Experience supporting enterprise-scale endpoint environments
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues
Education
  • Associate’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field preferred
  • Equivalent professional experience considered
Technical Competencies
  • Expertise in Microsoft Intune (endpoint management, MDM/MAM policies)
  • Strong knowledge of Windows 11, macOS, iOS, and Android operating systems
  • Experience with Apple Business Manager (ADE, VPP) and Android Zero-Touch Enrollment
  • Proficiency in PowerShell scripting and automation frameworks (PSADT)
  • Experience with application packaging and deployment (Win32, Patch My PC)
  • Understanding of endpoint security, compliance policies, and device lifecycle management
