Endpoint Engineer - Microsoft Intune

Job Description

Our client is seeking an experienced Endpoint Administrator / Endpoint Engineer to design, test, implement, automate, and support enterprise endpoint management solutions across a large, distributed environment. This role partners closely with infrastructure, cybersecurity, and operations teams to deliver secure, scalable, and efficient device management across Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android platforms.

The ideal candidate has hands-on expertise with Microsoft Intune, Windows Autopilot, endpoint automation, application deployment, and enterprise device lifecycle management. This is an excellent opportunity to work with modern endpoint technologies while driving enterprise automation and improving end-user experience.

Duties & Responsibilities

Endpoint Management & Engineering
  • Design, test, implement, and deploy enterprise endpoint management solutions using Microsoft Intune (MDM/MAM)
  • Configure and standardize endpoint security policies, compliance policies, configuration profiles, and device settings across desktops, laptops, and mobile devices to improve consistency, security, compatibility, and user experience
  • Deploy and manage Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android devices across a large enterprise environment
  • Support Windows Autopilot provisioning, enrollment, imaging, and complete device lifecycle management

Application Deployment & Automation
  • Package, test, and deploy Win32 applications using Microsoft Intune and Patch My PC
  • Manage software deployment strategies, application versioning, updates, and endpoint compliance
  • Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts and PSADT deployment packages to automate endpoint administration, provisioning, software deployments, and operational workflows
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency through automation and continuous process improvement

Endpoint Support
  • Triage and resolve complex endpoint incidents escalated from internal IT support teams
  • Troubleshoot complex operating system, application, enrollment, configuration, and connectivity issues across Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android platforms
  • Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) for enterprise endpoint technologies and collaborate with infrastructure, security, networking, and service desk teams to resolve enterprise endpoint challenges

Mobile Device Management
  • Administer Apple Business Manager (ADE & VPP) and Android Zero-Touch Enrollment
  • Manage secure enrollment, provisioning, configuration, and lifecycle management for enterprise mobile devices

Documentation & Continuous Improvement
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, deployment procedures, operational standards, and endpoint configurations
  • Evaluate emerging endpoint technologies, participate in pilot programs, and contribute to knowledge-sharing and best practice initiatives
  • Recommend improvements that enhance endpoint security, automation, scalability, and operational efficiency
  • Stay current with endpoint management technologies, automation tools, industry trends, and security best practices

Required Qualifications

Experience
  • 3+ years of enterprise endpoint administration experience utilizing Microsoft Intune (MDM/MAM)
  • 3+ years of Windows deployment, imaging, and Windows Autopilot experience
  • Experience administering enterprise-scale Windows 11, macOS, iOS, and Android environments
  • Experience packaging and deploying Win32 applications using Microsoft Intune and Patch My PC
  • Strong PowerShell scripting experience, including automation using PSADT
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex endpoint management, deployment, and configuration issues

Education
  • Associate's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field preferred
  • Equivalent professional experience will be considered
