Job Summary
The Center for Information Technology at Oberlin College invites applications for the position of Endpoint Support Specialist (Mac & Linux). This is a full-time, 12-month recurring Administrative and Professional (A&PS) staff position, reporting to the Director of IT Support.
The Endpoint Support Specialist will be responsible for technical support for MacOS end-user devices and a Linux-based (Ubuntu) desktop computer lab at the College. Apple devices include laptops, desktops, and tablets. The Endpoint Support Specialist will work closely with other IT teams to ensure that end-user devices are properly maintained, configured, and secure. The ideal candidate will have experience in supporting endpoints with MacOS, Linux, and possess strong technical and customer service skills.
