Position Overview 
The City of Phoenix is seeking an experienced Endpoint Systems Specialist / Network Technician to support enterprise endpoint management, device security, compliance, and systems administration initiatives. This role is responsible for deploying, securing, configuring, and maintaining endpoint devices across the organization while ensuring compliance with security standards and delivering excellent end-user support. 
The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Windows systems administration, endpoint management, endpoint security tools, device lifecycle management, and troubleshooting within enterprise or MSP/multi-tenant environments. 
 
Key Responsibilities 
Endpoint Management & Administration 
  • Deploy, configure, and maintain: 
    • Windows devices 
    • macOS devices 
    • Mobile endpoints 
  • Manage endpoint lifecycle activities including: 
    • Provisioning 
    • Configuration 
    • Updates 
    • Patch management 
    • Decommissioning 
  • Maintain standardized endpoint configurations across the enterprise 
  • Deploy and maintain enterprise applications using endpoint management tools 
Device Security & Compliance
  • Implement and enforce: 
    • Endpoint security policies 
    • Encryption standards 
    • Antivirus protection 
    • Firewall configurations 
    • Compliance baselines 
  • Monitor and remediate endpoint vulnerabilities 
  • Support endpoint protection platforms and security frameworks 
  • Ensure timely system updates and minimize operational/security risks 
Endpoint Tools & Platforms
  • Administer and support: 
    • Endpoint Manager 
    • Endpoint security platforms 
    • Device management solutions 
  • Provide endpoint troubleshooting and technical support 
  • Collaborate with internal IT teams and stakeholders on deployment and support initiatives 
Reporting & Documentation
  • Maintain technical documentation for: 
    • Endpoint configurations 
    • Operational procedures 
    • Support processes 
  • Track and improve endpoint-related KPIs and operational metrics 
Required Skills & Experience
  • Experience with: 
    • Endpoint management 
    • Systems administration 
    • Windows administration 
  • Strong knowledge of: 
    • Endpoint security tools 
    • Security best practices 
    • Basic networking concepts 
  • Experience in: 
    • MSP environments 
    • Multi-tenant environments 
  • Experience deploying and maintaining endpoint devices across enterprise environments 
  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills
