We are seeking an Energy Auditor to support our client by performing in-home energy assessments and help customers identify ways to improve comfort and reduce energy usage.
This role blends technical fieldwork, customer interaction, and problem-solving—you’ll be the face of the program, guiding homeowners through energy-saving improvements. Make a real impact by helping homeowners reduce energy costs
Duration: Full-time Contract (W2)
Pay: $25–$30/hr
What You’ll Do- Conduct residential energy audits (HVAC, insulation, ductwork, appliances)
- Identify and recommend cost-saving efficiency upgrades
- Educate homeowners on energy-saving programs and incentives
- Troubleshoot issues and coordinate solutions with contractors/vendors
- Support outreach events and assist during storm restoration efforts when needed
What You Bring- High school diploma or GED
- 3+ years of experience in HVAC, construction, energy, utilities, or field service
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Valid driver’s license and reliable personal vehicle (mileage reimbursed)
Nice to Have- Energy Auditor certification or related degree
- Bilingual (Spanish)
- Experience with utility programs or consultative sales
Field Requirements- Work in attics, crawl spaces, and outdoor environments
- Lift/carry up to 25 lbs (equipment, ladders)
- Travel locally (up to ~100 miles/day)
- Use standard PPE (respirator, safety gear provided/required)
