Aufgaben Job SummaryEnsures the safe efficient reliable operation of all Energy Center equipment and responds to all emergency conditions of the Utility Plant. Energy Center Operator Technician ECOT is proficient in using troubleshooting tools process knowledge piping diagrams electrical prints vendors manuals and operating procedures to quickly eliminate any downtime. The ECOT is also an important member of emergency response protocol including responding to fire alarms in all buildings silencing alarms and maintaining fire protection equipment per NFPA. This position will be based on rotating 12 hour shifts rotating between days and nights and persons in this role will be expected to be a part of the Hurricane Onsite Ride Out Team.Key Duties & ResponsibilitiesOperate all energy utility and fire protection systems to include7 and 10 Bar Air Compressors dryers and associated valvesWeld water system including multiple pumps tanks and coolersCooling tower and associated pump and motorsChillers and associated pumps and motorsGas fired water boilers and associated equipmentAir supply units for paint shop including filtering systems pumps piping and valvesRoof top units for body shop assembly plant and the admin buildingPerform Utility Plant Systems troubleshooting which are varied and non-routineIncident investigations utilizing 5 whys to eliminate issuesStartStop equipment as required and keep a log of the samePerform emergency isolation of site Fire Protection LoopNFPA required run test for fire water pumps and associated required systems testingRespond and assist Plant Security in fire alarm eventsOperate monitor and manage Building Management System computer based control system for all Facilities operated equipmentEnter work orders in CMMS systemMonitor and responds to 24x7x365 Facilities Help Desk support lineHurricane Ride Out team member with onsite shelter in place in a State of EmergencyShift log of all reported or investigated events and dispositionPerform Lock out Tag outMay modify existing processes methods and approachesParticipate in regular scheduled meetingsOther duties as assigned Qualifikationen QualificationsHigh School Diploma or equivalent3-5 years for experience in a facilities related fieldAble to perform essential functions of the jobKnowledge and SkillsKnowledge in Hot Water Boiler operation and Refrigeration cycleAbility to read blueprintsP&ID drawingselectrical schematicsMust possess excellent written & verbal communication skillsMust possess valid drivers licenseAbility to use Microsoft Office Software package WordExcel for communicationreporting functionsConflict resolutionGood communication skillsTeam work
