Do you thrive on diagnosing building needs from the rooftop down and crafting proposals that resonate with executives and engineers? As our Energy & Controls Retrofit Sales Strategist, you’ll create and grow relationships across commercial, industrial, and institutional markets—selling service agreements, retrofits, TI projects, energy solutions, and building automation upgrades.
How you’ll win
- Open the conversation: Source leads, qualify prospects, and make proactive sales calls—including cold outreach—to secure meetings with owners, facility managers, and management companies.
- Understand the site: Walk buildings, roofs, and mechanical spaces to assess conditions and align opportunities to technical specifications.
- Build the case: Estimate and negotiate service contracts, repair quotes, and retrofit scopes; then deliver detailed, data-supported proposals.
- Close with confidence: Tailor messaging for C-suite buyers and technical decision makers to achieve win-win outcomes.
- Grow relationships: Strengthen ties with existing customers and convert new logos into long-term partners.
What makes you effective
- 5+ years of commercial HVAC service sales experience (required)
- Driver’s license and willingness to travel around Hillsborough County
- Practical HVAC mechanical insight (preferred) and a Bachelor’s degree (preferred)
- Presence and clarity in both boardrooms and mechanical rooms
- Comfort working on-site and in person
