    Description

    Our client, a Automotive Manufacturing company, is looking for a Energy Programs Dealership Representative for their Remote location.

    Responsibilities:

    • Serve as a primary point of contact for dealership teams regarding Client Utility products, programs, and customer engagement processes.
    • Work with the Utility Activation Manager to drive dealer adoption and performance against key Utility Activation targets, including online enrollment, smart charging portal usage, incentive process execution, referrals, onboarding, and activation.
    • Build strong relationships with dealership owners, management, and sales staff through proactive outreach, follow-up, and in-person support.
    • Provide in-dealership training and education on Client offerings, utility program opportunities, activation workflows, sales processes, and customer journey best practices.
    • Respond to dealer questions, resolve common issues, and escalate more complex needs to the appropriate internal teams.
    • Track dealer interactions, adoption progress, and open items in CRM or other internal systems.
    • Partner closely with the Client Dealer team and other internal cross-functional teams to improve dealer experience, execution, and program effectiveness.
    • Share dealer feedback to help improve processes, materials, and program performance.
    • Represent Client at dealer and brand events as needed, with travel up to 50% within Northern California to support dealership engagement, training, and field execution.

    Requirements:

    • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
    • Ability to explain programs, processes, and value propositions in simple, customer-friendly language.
    • Strong follow-through and organizational skills in a fast-paced environment.
    • Ability to manage multiple dealer relationships and open items simultaneously.
    • Problem-solving mindset with the ability to navigate questions and coordinate across teams.
    • Comfort working in CRM, support tools, and standard business systems.
    • Self-starter who can work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
    • Preferred Qualifications:
    • Experience in dealer support, field support, inside sales, account management, customer success, or call-center operations.
    • Familiarity with automotive retail, dealership operations, EV ecosystem topics, or energy-related products and services.
    • Experience supporting partner enablement, program rollout, or channel engagement.
    • Experience working in a metrics-driven environment with outreach, adoption, or conversion goals.
    • Typical Day in the Role:
    • In-dealership responsibilities include training dealership personnel on Client programs, conducting follow-up discussions, and engaging with specific customers and dealers to support program success.
    • Event support opportunities may involve interacting directly with prospective customers, educating them on Client offerings, and helping generate interest in available solutions.
    • Outside of dealership visits, responsibilities include planning activities, conducting outreach calls, managing dealer follow-ups, and coordinating next steps for customers and partners.
    • Field-based role, with an expectation of spending approximately three days per week in dealerships and the remaining time focused on administrative tasks, planning, and follow-up activities.
    • Structured onboarding approach, with new hires initially partnering with experienced field team members before transitioning to independent management of their assigned territory and relationships.
    • Fast-paced training and ramp-up, with the expectation that employees will be fully onboarded and contributing within their first week.
    • Candidate Requirements:
    • Education/Experience:
    • Bachelor's degree in marketing or equivalent training required.
    • 2-4 years experience required.
