JOB SUMMARY:Client is currently seeking an experienced Electrical Commissioning Engineer I and II to join our Energy Storage Group to provide electrical technical support throughout the entire construction project. Strong communication skills are necessary as you will interact with staff at all levels in an ever-changing environment. Your ability to remain flexible, inventive, dedicated, and efficient with a high level of integrity and confidentiality is vital to your success in this role. 

RESPONSIBILITIES
•    Reviewing owner project requirements 
•    Assist in performing scope reviews 
•    Assist in creating commissioning plans, checklists, and tests 
•    Performing field visits and observing commissioning inspections and tests where prescribed means and methods are provided 
•    Assist in writing issue descriptions and field reports 
•    Assist in creating Systems Manuals 
•    Effectively work and build relationships with those of diverse backgrounds and organizational levels  
•    Support planning and execution of system tests, including but not limited to NETA, SCADA, controls, and operations verification of energy storage systems. 
•    All other duties as assigned 


QUALIFICATIONS
Electrical Commissioning Engineer I

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction, Civil, or Architectural, Mechanical, and/or Electrical Engineering or similar technical field or equivalent field experience 
• Minimum one year of construction management or commissioning experience, preferably with a MEP Contractor, Commissioning firm 
• Detail orientation sufficient to organize and manage multiple project tasks  
• Basic understanding of key construction documents and their relationship to construction Project Management and Field Executions 
• Basic understanding of how design, construction, start-up, and turnover align within the project delivery process 
• Basic understanding of key construction documents and their relationship to Quality Control/Quality Assurance (QA/QC)  

Electrical Commissioning Engineer II

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering

• Minimum three years in electrical construction management or electrical design
• Utility experience preferred
• Working knowledge of NEC code and NE safety code a plus
• Current driver’s license
