Energy Transmission Siting Attorney

HumanHire is partnered with an elite mid-sized Law Firm to find an Energy Transmission Siting Attorney to join their growing team in NYC, Long Island, or Albany. This position offers the opportunity to work on sophisticated energy and regulatory matters.

• Pay: $180K-$250K Base Salary plus Bonus

Responsibilities:

• Advise clients on energy projects, permitting, and regulatory requirements.
• Guide clients through complex state and local approval processes.
• Handle environmental and land use issues tied to energy development.
• Work closely with clients and outside professionals throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of relevant energy, utility, environmental, or regulatory law experience
• Strong background in energy infrastructure and regulatory matters.
• New York Bar Admission required; New Jersey is a plus.
• Strong research, writing, and client-facing skills.
