Shift - 8AM to 5PM
Key Responsibilities:
Perform dimensional, visual, and functional inspections on incoming materials, in-process parts, and finished products using appropriate measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, CMM, gauges, etc.).
Support Quality Engineers in First Article Inspections (FAI), and process validations.
Collect and analyze quality data, prepare reports, and maintain accurate documentation in compliance with ISO 9001/AS9100/ (as applicable).
Conduct Gage R&R studies, capability studies (Cp, Cpk), and support measurement system analysis.
Assist in root cause analysis and corrective/preventive action implementation for internal and external nonconformances.
Support MRB (Material Review Board) activities and maintain proper control of nonconforming materials.
Ensure calibration of measuring equipment is maintained and documented.
Participate in internal audits and assist with supplier audits when required.
Contribute to continuous improvement activities, including Lean/Six Sigma projects, 5S, and error-proofing initiatives.
Maintain safe work practices and comply with all quality, safety, and regulatory requirements.
Collaboration:
Work cross-functionally with R&D, Quality, Production, Maintenance, and Supply Chain.
Works with moderate work direction, and can identify issues/problems but may need assistance in resolving. Worker performs tasks to assist engineers such as preliminary research, initial drawings or diagrams, design modification, or testing. Worker maintains detailed process documentation, creates operating procedures and/or updates documents as needed. Works with cross-functional teams. Operates under direct supervision from an engineer or a senior technician.
Skills:
Preferred Qualifications:
1 years of experience in specific manufacturing industries (chemical, electronics, medical device).
Strong project management and multitasking abilities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Education:
Bachelor s degree or higher in Chemical, Mechanical, Materials Science, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
Recent college graduate or minimum of 1 years relevant engineering experience.
