This is a Year 1 project focused on building organizational capacity to strengthen CUMAC's ability to address poverty and food insecurity throughout Passaic County. The AmeriCorps member will support multiple program areas by improving systems, expanding access to resources, and strengthening the infrastructure needed to serve community members experiencing economic hardship. Service activities will include assisting with client assessments, benefits enrollment, and resource navigation; supporting food distribution operations and inventory management; maintaining accurate program data and documentation; conducting community outreach; and helping strengthen partnerships with social service providers and government agencies. The member will also support outcome tracking and storytelling efforts to demonstrate program impact.
