POSITION SUMMARY:
The Engagement Coordinator is responsible for creating a positive, engaging workplace by coordinating company-wide team-building events, office luncheons, and celebrations throughout the year, while also supporting essential HR administrative and internal communication functions.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfortable working with budgets, vendors and schedules.
- Familiarity with employment practices and HR compliance basics.
- Experience creating internal communications or newsletters.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Plan, coordinate and execute company wide and team level building events throughout the year both in person and virtually.
- Organize monthly office luncheons, holiday parties, celebrations and special events.
- Manage event logistics including venues, catering, vendors, budgets and schedules.
- Partner with managers and leadership to align events with company culture and engagement goals.
- Gather feedback after events to continuously improve employee experience initiatives.
- Draft, coordinate and distribute companywide communications related to HR initiatives, events and announcements.
- Create, manage and publish monthly company newsletter, including content planning editing and coordination with management.
- Support employee recognition programs and milestone celebrations.
- Help to maintain a structured employee recognition program.
- Track participation, nominations, and recognition metrics to ensure fairness and consistency.
- Collaborate with HR leadership on engagement surveys and follow up actions related to recognition and culture.
- Support the HR team as needed with administration tasks.
- Maintains comfortable work environment for all employees.
- Maintains proper timekeeping.
- Some travel may be required.
- Follows policies and procedures as per Employee Handbook.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Stand, sit, talk, hear, reach, stoop, kneel and use of hands and fingers to operate computer, telephone, and keyboard on a frequent basis (Up to 60% of the time).
- Driving is required 40% of the time
- Close vision requirements due to computer work.
- Light to moderate lifting may be required (up to 25lbs).
