The mission of the West Point Association of Graduates (WPAOG) is to 'Serve West Point and the Long Gray Line.' WPAOG is both the alumni association and foundation for the United States Military Academy (USMA) at West Point. Our vision is to ensure the Long Gray Line remains the most highly connected alumni body in the world. USMA is renowned as the world's preeminent leadership development institution. The Corps of Cadets numbers approximately 4,400, and each year about 1,000 cadets graduate and are commissioned as second lieutenants in the U.S. Army. The West Point Association of Graduates is seeking an Engagement Coordinator, West Point Societies & Parents Clubs, for the Alumni and Parent Engagement Department. This part-time position provides administrative, operational, and constituent support to West Point Societies and Parents Clubs worldwide. Reporting to the Engagement Manager for West Point Societies and Parents Clubs, the Engagement Coordinator helps ensure consistent service, effective communication, and successful execution of engagement activities that strengthen connections across the Long Gray Line. The Engagement Coordinator will provide administrative, engagement, and technical support to over 130 West Point Societies and 64 Parents Clubs, assisting volunteer leaders and ensuring smooth coordination of programs, events, and communications. This position will also support annual programs such as the Distinguished Society Award, Distinguished Parents Club Award, National Volunteer Week, and the WPAOG Leaders Conference. The incumbent must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment; be detail-oriented; meet deadlines; and work on multiple projects at one time; and demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills. The individual should be able to work independently and collaboratively while maintaining a high level of professionalism and customer service when engaging with alumni, parents, and volunteers. The position requires strong familiarity with database management (CRM), Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and web-based engagement platforms such as Sallyport (HiveBrite). A high school diploma is required, and a bachelor's degree is preferred. Prior experience in alumni relations and event coordination is helpful. This position is based at West Point, NY, and requires occasional travel, early morning, evening, or weekend work in support of events such as Founders Day, R-Day, and Family Weekend.
